RT Promotions Wins British Team’s Uniform Contract
Why is a Mohecan representing the British team abroad? To find out more you’ll need to read the full article here.
The Mohecan was part of the Hash House Harriers group that were representing Great Britain on a good-will trip to France over the weekend. Hash House Harriers participate in a curious and not very well known sport, where the objective is to run between drinking establishments, consuming a beverage at each one…. sounds like a pub crawl to me!!!
One such group organised by Bill Honeyman, operates out of Poole, Dorset, and has been forging links across the channel in Cherbourg. Comprising an eclectic bunch of athletes, including a member who has been blind for ten years, a former world champion yachtsman, and a friend of George Bush.

Bill was stumped for an original low-cost idea for their ‘uniforms’ (T-Shirts to the rest of us), and came to RT Promotions showrooms in Wimborne seeking help. We were happy to oblige, and suggested a T-Shirt with a built-in design of a fluttering Union Jack Flag along the side of each shirt. All we had to do then was embroider their logo onto the left breast of each shirt.
Bill commented, “RT Promotions certainly came up with all the answers, and despite problems with the artwork, ensured we had all of the garments ready on time for our departure. We wanted to be distinctive, and we were certainly noticed, even being interviewed by a French television film crew.”
It’s Bill’s ambition to set up a club in Cherbourg as part of the twinning with Poole, and with 25 runners/walkers attending the launch event, it seems like he’s off to a good star
