RT Promotions Offers A ‘Double Mack’
Jamie joins the company to work in the sales/admin department and comes with a great deal of experience of working in busy admin areas. With a background working for several well known blue-chip brands his enthusiasm and knowledge are sure to be an asset, not to mention, that far from common surname, ‘Mack’.
We decided to ask Jamie a few questions to give you an insight into his character (YES, they’re biased around cars and motoring, but we like that don’t we)!!
Q: What car would you love to drive?
A: Well it’s got to be the Buggati Veyron hasn’t it.
Q: What’s your most memorable moment in a car?
A: That was being driven around Thruxton circuit by a professional British Touring Car driver. It was absolutely mad!!
Q: In your opinion, what’s the best car chase sequence in a film?
A: Undoubtedly that would be ‘Ronin’, but I also really liked the ‘Matrix Reloaded’ freeway chase scene. It was unreal.
Q: If you could have just one car, any car, for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A: Easy. That would be a BMW M5.
Q: What’s the best motor race you’ve seen?
A: It has to be in Formula One, in 2006, when I went to Hungary and watched Jenson Button win his first ever Grand Prix at the Hungaroring circuit. It had been raining all day when it’s usually a heatwave at this circuit. I was wet and cold, but I forgot all of that when he crossed line to win the race.
Q: So what car do you currently drive?
A: Ah well, it’s a long story, but I am currently a biker. I drive a Gilera Cougar. I passed my test in September, so am now able to go for a larger engined model. Time will tell.
