
RT Promotions embraces sustainability
Catherine Gregg (Director at RT Promotions), is delighted to announce her companies commitment to sustainability. She explained, “I have always been an advocate for sustainability but during the past year, and in consultation with our trade association, the BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association), I have decided to put into place a more focussed strategic plan. It coincides with a drive from our association to get all members to review their working practices in this area. Our industry has a powerful message to communicate as we have many products that are ECO Friendly – they’ve either been recycled, or are recyclable, or maybe just created using sustainable resources. My experience from working with our corporate clients informs me that there is a drive to reduce our carbon footprint.
The BPMA’s initiative, the ‘StepForward Pledge’ was too good an opportunity to miss. As a business, we have so much to learn and then apply giving benefits to everyone. It’s our intention to introduce systems and processes that will not only future-proof our business, but which will attract clients and talent alike. I dont underestimate the task in hand, but if we dont make an effort, who will?
Our initial application to take part in the ‘StepForward Pledge’ has now been approved by the BPMA, and we will be subject to regular audits and reviews to ensure we stay on track with our sustainability goals”
