Printed T-Shirts for Grand Prix team
We’ve won an order for a Formula 1 team? Which team? Richard Mack, Director at Wimborne based RT Promotions, couldn’t believe his ears when the office advised him about their latest customer, “We’ve got a sales order to supply a Formula One team with printed T-Shirts”. Which one? McLaren? Ferrari? Red Bull? Williams?
The list went on, all meeting with a negative shake of the head, until there were no identifiable teams left, so which Formula one team exactly was it?
The answer was the ‘Victoria Education Centre’, Branksome, Bournemouth, who were taking part in the New Milton Pedal Car Grand Prix to raise awareness of the school’s out-reach service, and wanted to have quality printed T-Shirts for the driving team as well as their supporters.
Using the catch phrase ‘Va Va Vroom, Catch Us If You Can!’, the Victoria Education Centre, which educates children with disabilities, competed against 40 other local companies, amongst them Rolls Royce UK.
Sarah Gilling, Head of Speech & Language Therapy said, ”The shirts were fantastic. Not only did they look great, but they raised our profile and helped us with our street collection. The day was such a success that we are planning to do it next year. I’m so pleased the event was a success and that the T-Shirts looked fab”.
The final comment is from Richard who said, ”we now have another happy customer, we continue to grow, and we can dream of the day when we really do supply a Formula one Grand Prix team”.
