One Year In The Business
What a difference a year makes!!! Jamie has been celebrating being a part of the RT Promotions team for ONE YEAR this week, and has been reflecting on his experiences.
Jamie commented, “there’s been so much to learn, and although I’ve now been working at RT Promotions for a full year, I’m still learning new things every single day. the thing I enjoy most about working in the promotional gifts market is that you just never know what you’re going to be working on next.
Of course, I now know more about pens, coffee coasters, keyrings, mousemats, T-Shirts, and post it notes than I’d ever thought possible, but those are items that I work with clients on almost every day. It’s the slightly different items that are constantly coming onto the market that keep you on your toes”
When pushed to explain what he meant by that, Jamie explained, “Well I guess working with clients on things like bespoke-shaped USB Memory Sticks would be quite common, but with every brief being different, I’m constantly learning what can, and can’t be done. Another area might be bespoke shaped vinyl or rubber keyrings. There’s so much you can do with these materials I love working with clients who have unusual ideas and want to exploit the benefits of this tactile material with its colourful options”.
