Catherine In The Spotlight
Charity fundraising with a difference comes to the Hilton Hotel in Bournemouth town centre
Business Come Dancing has been running for over 10 years, inspiring local businesses to help Pavilion Dance creatively in fulfilling their mission to transform lives through dance. Money raised supports their charity in delivering programmes in the community which create accessible ways to participate in dance & movement, and reap all the physical and mental health benefits it brings.
Pavilion Dance South West’s corporate fundraiser is a popular Strictly-style event held every year in Bournemouth. It’s anticipated this years event will raise £25,000 from Business Come Dancing 2025.
This year, RT Promotions, under the guidance of it’s Director, Catherine Gregg, took a literal LEAP and decided to contribute. Ten businesses can put a member of staff forward, and their names go into a hat to see what dance category they will be selected for. Catherine was selected for ‘Tap Dance’ – and so followed weeks of training with her professional dance partner.

They entered the dance floor using some specially created newspaper props – clever huh?
