Due to interpretations of the law we are unable to provide you with a single opinion, however we have been informed that in some parts of the country, trading standards have requested that number plate stickers only show telephone numbers and/or web site address. We are advised that this is because they could be distracting.

3. I am a car sales showroom, can I use Number Plate Over Stickers to promote my business?
In order for your number plate to be compliant with DVLA and VOSA regulations number plates are required to display the manufacturing RNPS number and supplying outlet name and postcode on the bottom of the number plate. You will receive number plate over stickers in yellow and white – for both the front and rear number plates – the quantities you have requested. Please note that our minimum order is for 250 stickers, which would consist of 125 yellow and 125 white over-stickers.
6. Can I print anything on to a number plate over sticker?
Yes, you can. However you do need to bear in mind where these number plates are being used and if you intend to have them for legal use on the road there may be restrictions. If you want them for use on show plates, then you can do pretty much whatever you would like.
