CHX have created an exclusive R+ range of promotional merchandise.
R+ is made from recycled polymers including all CHX waste products with a biodegradable additive, that speeds up the biodegradable process of plastic.
R+ is 100% recycled and biodegradable*
*Biodegradation testing in line with ASTM D5511** showed 6.4% biodegradation after 45 days of testing.

What does R+ stand for?
Whilst taking on previous feedback from customers and the industry on rHIPS.b products and questions about what they’re made from and what does the name mean, CHX have renamed their exclusive range from rHIPS.b to R+, which simply stands for Recycled+.
Why have CHX developed this range?
This range of products offers diversity to an already extensive portfolio, with the added advantage of its pricing being the same as products made in their standard white recycled plastic. By competitively pricing both options the same, it is hoped that the industry will welcome the R+ range as an innovative move, to provide the market with products that have a lower carbon footprint, without cost being a barrier to purchase.
How does CHX make their R+ products?
R+ products are produced from waste material from the manufacturing process (of which CHX are exclusively using recycled WEEE material) as well as all the waste generated from their in-house print process being also recycled. Both these streams of materials are blended to create R+, a unique recycled plastic. By reusing their our own waste, and recycled materials being recycled again, it’s CHX’s objective to lower the carbon footprint of their exclusive range of products.
What is the difference to CHX’s standard recycled products?
The result of using blended recycled plastic and a biodegradable additive* in this process is, products have a slightly grey-speckled appearance, offering a more natural and aesthetically pleasing look.
